This quarter, we’ve launched powerful updates to help customers adapt more quickly, scale smarter, and stay ahead of evolving global trade. From AI-assisted hyperbatching of ad-hoc jobs in NowGo to real-time order modifications, we’re building a more intelligent and flexible delivery platform to support your growth.
What’s new
Shippit NowGo: Make the most of your driver shifts
When unexpected jobs come in, our Quick Assign feature helps dispatchers act fast, without throwing the day off course. Quick Assign now uses real-time route intelligence to suggest the best-fit driver shift for ad-hoc deliveries, ranking options by risk of delay, added drive time, and distance. This lets your team make smart trade-offs and take on more jobs, without increasing resource allocation or disrupting ongoing runs.

See how you can make smarter dispatch decisions in the NowGo help centre.
Flexible order modifications
Whether it’s changes after checkout or improvements in warehouse automation, fulfilling orders requires adapting on the go. With our new Order Modifications API endpoint, you can adapt faster and edit orders after they've been placed. Changes made in your connected systems will be automatically reflected in Shippit, eliminating the need for manual edits across multiple platforms.
With the Order Modifications API, you can:
- Adjust delivery details (address, instructions, contact information)
- Change carrier allocation or re-quote services
- Update parcel dimensions and weights
- Modify product or customs information
This is especially useful when:
- Orders change after checkout (e.g. address corrections)
- Packing differs from your initial order estimates
- You want to avoid cancelling and recreating orders manually

Error-free customs clearance with MID code support
With the removal of the USD $800 de minimis threshold, U.S. Customs now requires Manufacturer ID (MID) codes to verify origin and apply tariffs, especially for goods from China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Shippit can now receive and pass MID codes to carriers, to prevent customs delays.

Enhancements
Fulfil from multiple locations in Cin7 Core
Managing multiple warehouses in Cin7 Core? We’ve enhanced our integration to support more efficient multi-location fulfilment.
For retailers looking to optimise stock across stores, warehouses, and fulfilment hubs, you can now map Cin7 warehouse locations directly to Shippit stores. All "Packed" fulfilments will be synced to Shippit, ensuring more complete and accurate order processing for multi-location merchants.

Faster analysis in Shippit Insights
Shippit Insights gives retailers clear visibility into delivery performance, carrier efficiency, and shipping trends. Recent updates make it even easier to analyse results, with local currency support, clearer chart headings, and weighted averages to give you a more accurate picture of typical delivery times.

Precise barcode scanning
We’ve improved our barcode scanning experience to return exact match search results first, and eliminate the risk of printing or confirming the wrong order due to partial matches.
